442 Full DIsclosure Part 1: Teachers
Summary:
In this podcast, Mr. Molyneux plays the devil's advocate as an irrational, abusive teacher who incessantly talks down to the cell-phone-obsessed, hair-combing girls in the front and the freedom-loving libertarian boys in the back. He addresses a hypothetical 10th grade public school classroom of 16 year olds after the passage of a New Hampshire law that slipped through a "sleepy legislature" wherein all teachers are required to provide disclaimers, or disclosure statements, about their conflict of interest in speaking ill of the unions (in which they are forced to join) and their employer (the government). After a sarcastic monologue where Mr. Molyneux reads the requirements of the full disclosure law and comments on them from the perspective of a bitter, anti-Iraq War, pro-monopolistic State schoolteacher, he opens the forum to a question answer session in which he takes imaginary questions from that naughty little imaginary libertarian in the back of the room. After being called out as a hypocrite for calling FOX News biased while teaching history with an agenda, the defiant students are forced to read Canadian novels and do calculus homework.
